I am very pleased my artwork Featherweight features in this new book by Katie Blake. This particular collage is meant to help illustrate the term Ventiláž - a technique that is ubiquitously used but the word as it applies to the technique for collage is from Jiri Kolar, a very inventive artist from Czechoslovakia. It's fairly simple in that this is just to identify where collages include elements which are deliberately left free-hanging like your work where the feather/portrait has a fringe edge... not glued down.
